This Dermatology course will focus on practical issues with lots of example cases encountered daily in the companion animal clinic.

The course was built from the clinician perspective and have been a great success in Israel.

In our veterinary practice, about 70% of clinical visits have a direct or indirect connection to dermatology. Many time we face complicated situation that require special attention of our behalf.

In this very practical case based approach course we will put special emphasis on diagnosis, treatment and correct management of dermatology cases from the clinician point of view.

You will learn how to achieve a better result for your clients, through a practical knowledge that would be able to be implemented immediately in your clinic.

You will able to treat and diagnose correctly dermatology diseases and ear problems in dogs and cats by using new techniques.

14:00-14:30 Welcome and registration

14:30-15:30 Dermatology approach, Physical examination, lesions types – papules pustules and others.

15:45-16:45 Clinical dermatology cases.

17:00-18:00 Erosive and ulcerative skin diseases

18:15-19:15 Cytology of the skin, techniques for skin cytology, the secret of trichogram, biopsy – how and when.

19:30-20:30 Diagnostics for dermatophytes, C/S in the MRS era – Clinical dermatology case.

9:00-11:00  – Can we differentiate allergy types? by clinical presentation? history? diagnostics?

11:30-13:00 – Autoimmune diseases, what is the gold standard for correct diagnosis? when should prognosis will be discussed with owners? how can we efficiently and successfully treat for long term.

12:00-13:00 – Erosive and ulcerative skin diseases

14:30-15:30 – Diseases of the ears and pinna diagnosis treatment and management.
