In this course we will learn how to perform eyelid surgeries in the best possible way to increase the chances of success and learn how to prevent and avoid common complications of eye surgery.

The course is highly practical and the lectures focus on the clinical practical aspect of the procedures performed.

• Eyelid surgery – entropion, ectropion, eyelid aperture reduction and medial canthoplasty, eyelids – surgical techniques for eyelids mass removal (small and large).

• Third Eyelid Surgery – Indications for third eyelid flap and correct technique. Common masses in the third eyelid and mass removal from a third eyelid, indications for removal of a third eyelid.

• Enucleation

• Chery eye surgery – a combined surgery of the pocket technique and fixation to the base of the third eyelid

• Cornea: surgical cases for the clinician.

• Conjunctiva surgery. Removal of masses / dermoid from the conjunctiva.Treatment of Ectopic cilia

• conjunctival flap for corneal ulceration. Types of conjunctival flaps: pedicle graft, hood flap, bridge flap.
