Dermatology workshop for veterinary technicians

Supervisor: Dr. Ilan Skorinsky – Dr. Skorinsky completed his veterinary studies in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1991 and specialized in dermatological medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in 1994

The workshop is designed for veterinary technicians interested in deepening their knowledge of dermatology.

The workshop will enable understanding of skin structure and function, skin components, various diseases and their clinical appearance. The workshop is rich in pictures and includes case studies to illustrate the material that is being studied.

This is the first course in a series of courses intended for veterinary technicians in the various veterinary medicine fields.

• Skin structure, function and uniqueness
• The factors that affect the quality of skin and fur
• Skin parasites and skin contaminants (bacteria, fungi, yeast)
• Why baldness, Doctor?
• Allergies, But Why Allergies?
