The conditions for optimal listening, and more over, accurate interpretation of heart sounds, can be a challenging in a busy clinic.

Even a suspicion of abnormal sounds, it does not necessarily indicate for a clinical therapeutic plan and does not always help to decide whether such a plan is really necessary.

What is the most useful diagnostic process? Will it change outcome or case management?

The course will also include guided use of relevant clinical subjects, including ECG, charts and chest X-ray, as well as audio and video recordings of abnormal heart sound and different types of coughing in dogs.

You can build up your self-confidence in correct management of the cardiologist patient, based primarily on the findings of the physical examination.

 What we will learn :

• How to interpret unusual heart sounds and murmurs
• An approach to understanding the silhouette of the heart in chest x-rays
• How to integrate the use ECG in the diagnostic process, and when necessary, other means to make optimal decisions.
• Case-based approach to allow you to integrate findings and apply the lessons learned immediately to your patients in your clinic.
