Dr Joshua Milgram is a senior lecturer in the department of small animal veterinary surgery in Koret Veterinary School of the Hebrew University in Israel.
Dr Joshua Milgram have been employed at the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine – Veterinary Teaching Hospital (KSVM-VTH) since December 1997. Dr Joshua Milgram was accepted to a residency in small animal surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH), under the mentorship of Professor Ron Shahar, which have been completed in 2002. and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) after passing the Board Exam in July 2005, and worked, as a specialist surgeon, in the small animal surgery department since that time.
In 2007, Dr Joshua Milgram became a member of the ECVS Credentials Committee, responsible for reviewing the activity of all the surgical residents in Europe. Dr Joshua Milgram was elected to chair the Small Animal Credential Committee in September 2015 which is a one-year position. and have recently agreed to serve for one year on the Recertification Committee of the ECVS, which oversees the recertification of all of the small animal surgery residency programs in Europe.
The emphasis of Dr Joshua Milgram clinical research has been the development of novel surgical techniques for the treatment of dogs and cats, with a focus on minimally invasive procedures. Dr Joshua Milgram have chosen to concentrate on conditions which are both frequent and life-saving, and for which, at present, there are limited surgical options.
