Dr. Ady Gancz –   DVM, MSc, DVSc, DABVP-avian, DECZM-avian

Dr. Gancz completed his veterinary studies (DVM) in 2001 and an MSc in animal science (a study of poisoning in birds), both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2002-2005 he specialized in birdד medicine and exotic animals at the University of Guelph in Canada and graduated with the title DVSc. In 2007, he passed the American Expertise in Bird Medicine and in 2011 he passed the European College of Zoology Expertise. Between 2005-2008 Dr. Ganz established and directed the Department of Birdד and Exotic Animalד Health at the University Veterinary Hospital in Beit Dagan. Since 2008, he has been the owner of the Exotic clinic, a private clinic devoted entirely to birds and exotic animals. In addition, Dr. Ganz treats and advises zoos on various zoological collections. Dr. Ganz published many scientific articles in the professional literature and lectures at international conferences. In 2008, he was involved in the discovery of new viruses for science, which cause Proventricular Dilatation Disease (PDD) in parrots.
