​Dr. Efrat Yagil-Kelmer, DVM, Dip. ACVECC Dip. ECVECC

Dr. Efrat Yagil-Kelmer, Diplomate of the American and European College of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care.

Director of the Department of Emergency and Critical Care at the Koret University Veterinary Hospital, founded by the Hebrew University.

Dr. Kelmer completed her veterinary studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2000. She then completed her master's degree in immunology and a 4-year residency in emergency medicine and Critical care of small animals from the American College of Emergency Medicine and Critical care of small animals in Columbia, Missouri, USA .

After her residency, she successfully passed the board certified exams and worked for another two years as a boarfd certified veterinarian in the Emergency and Critical Care Department of the University of Knoxville, Tennessee. After seven and a half years in the United States, Dr. Yagil-Kelmer returned to Israel to work as a senior veterinarian in the emergency of Critical care department at the Koret University Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Yagil-Kelmer's interests include the Israel Viper snake bites, GDV, heat stroke and coagulopathies in dogs and cats.
